Description: T107 is a pure copper electrode with pure copper as the core and covered with low-hydrogen sodium type flux. Use DCEP (direct current electrode positive). Good mechanical properties, good corrosion resistance to atmosphere and sea water, not suitable for welding oxygen-containing copper and electrolytic copper.

Application: It is mainly used for welding copper components such as conductive copper bars, copper heat exchangers, and seawater conduits for ships. It can also be used for surfacing welding of carbon steel parts resistant to seawater corrosion.

Notice:

1. The electrode must be baked at about 200°C for 1 hour before welding, and the moisture, oil, oxides and other impurities on the surface of the weldment must be removed.

2. Due to the thermal conductivity of copper, and the preheating temperature of the wood to be welded is generally relatively high, usually above 500 °C. The magnitude of the welding current should be compatible with the preheating temperature of the base metal; Try vertical short arc welding. It can be used for reciprocating linear motion to improve weld formation.

3. For longer welds, try to use back step welding method, and the welding speed should be as fast as possible.

When multi-layer welding, the slag between layers must be completely removed; after welding, hammer the weld with a flat head hammer to relieve stress,

Improve weld quality.
