Description: A201 is a low-carbon Cr18Ni12Mo2 stainless steel electrode with titanium-calcium coating. It can be used for both AC and DC with excellent operating performance, especially suitable for flat welding and fillet welding of thin plates. The coating does not turn red or crack during welding. Due to the addition of molybdenum to the deposited metal, it has good corrosion resistance, heat resistance and crack resistance, especially for resisting chloride ion pitting corrosion.

Application: Used for welding 06Cr17Ni12Mo2 stainless steel structures working in organic and inorganic acid (non-oxidizing acid) medium, and can also be used for welding high chromium steel or dissimilar steel that cannot be heat treated after welding.

Notice:

1. The electrode must be baked for 1 hour at around 250℃ before welding operation. Do not bake repeatedly;

2. Because the penetration depth is shallow during AC welding, the DC power supply should be used as much as possible to get deeper penetration.
