Description: A212 is a low-carbon Cr18Ni12MoNb stainless steel electrode with a niobium-containing stabilizer with a titanium-calcium coating. It can be used for both AC and DC with excellent operating performance. The deposited metal has better intergranular corrosion performance than A202 and A207.

Application: Used for welding important 06Cr17Ni12Mo2, ultra-low carbon Cr17Ni14Mo2 and other stainless steel structures, such as urea synthesis tower, vinylon equipment and other parts exposed to strong corrosive media.

Notice:

1. The electrode must be baked for 1 hour at around 150℃ before the welding operation;

2. Because the penetration depth is shallow during AC welding, the DC power supply should be used as much as possible to get deeper penetration. and the current should not be too large to avoid redness of the welding rod;

3. The corrosion resistance of the deposited metal is determined by the double agreement of supply and demand.
